Covid-19 Update - Monday, July 12
Nova Scotia will be entering phase three of the reopening plan tomorrow (June 30) at 8:00am. Participants and officials in organized performing arts and sports (recreational, amateur and professional) can gather with up to 25 people indoors and up to 50 people outdoors without social distancing for rehearsals, performances, practices, games and competition. Masks are recommended outdoors when you can’t maintain a minimum physical distance of 2 meters (6 feet) from others.
Spectators are permitted (indoor and outdoor) for sports and performing arts hosted by a business or organization that have an event plan. Facilities are permitted to have spectators for up to 50% of capacity of the facility with a maximum of 150 people indoors and 250 people outdoors.
To be clear, your 'event plan' references how your club intends to operate under the current Public Health guidelines. How spectators may enter and exit the building, where within the club are they allowed when viewing practice/competitions, as well mask use within your facility.
