2020 has been a year of 'firsts' thanks to Covid. Taekwondo Canada, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Centre, hosted the first ever Virtual Poomsae Championship.
Often, Poomsae is called the soul of Taekwondo practice. By hosting the 2020 Korean Ambassador’s Cup Poomsae Championship, the Embassy of Korea hopes to lift the spirit of Taekwondo practitioners across Canada.
MTU's very own - Seong In Jo of K-Top & Martial Arts, participated in the Under 50 High Performance Division! Not only did Master Jo participate, he came away with a First Place finish for the Division!!
